Unfortunately, I didn't realize the description did not say drawer and it is just a decorative handle. But, I still like the table and the lower shelf is great for a basket to dump stuff in. - CT

Nice small table, fits perfectly on the small wall we bought it for. The color is nice,(espresso), and matches our other espresso wood perfectly. It appears sturdy although it's not that heavy. There is a "fake" drawer, which was the only drawback, but I had read that in a previous review before I bought it. We are very happy with it. - Kim

I needed a table for the hallway that didn't protrude to far out into the hallway and this table fit the bill. I would have liked a cherry finish instead of the dark walnut finish but for the price it was fine. The drawer is also for show and I think this can be made functional.
