Began online grad school, needed larger desk for small office. Visited many places. Wanted character and attractiveness. Found it with this, looks like a desk an adult male would own. Great color and applied well. A mix of solid wood, hardwood plywood, and hardwood veneered particle board in the largest panels. The quality of construction is good, there are corner braces and drawer bottom supports in all drawers. Four adjustable levelers on front. Made in China. It is not an heirloom piece of furniture and probably not built to survive numerous moves, but it is far above the "office store" stuff in attractiveness and features. One particular note that should be in the description is the width of the kneehole- 21 5/8 inch. The width of the keyboard drawer- 19 inch. My Logitec wireless kb fits with < 1/4 inch to spare. I knew a 56 in desk with file drawers in the pedestal had to have a narrow kneehole, but I could not find dimensions or a similar desk to measure. I am pleased and would recommend this. - dwl the student
