When we opened the well-packaged console table we noticed small holes on the table surface which obviously were there before the piece was finished. When contacting customer service we were told by the manager that the table is supposed to have a "distressed look". We decided to accept the table but suggested adding a comment concerning this feature to the web page in order to avoid complaints or disappointments. - JMK
