This unit and other matching unit are good quality for a budget price. The unit is easy to assemble and pretty durable for DVD storage. I use this one along with 5 others for my DVD library room. The height of the unit is not optimized for DVD storage. There is 6" of space that is wasted at the bottom, but if you want to lay down some DVD's or incorporate CD's then it will work fine. It is sturdy enough so that it does not need to be anchored to the wall, unlike another brand I have used. The shelves could be a little thicker for their length to avoid bowing in the center. The pieces of this cabinet fit together perfectly during assembly. I've never seen pieces more precisely cut and drilled. It gives the assembled cabinet a look of quality. Once filled, the shelves will sag noticably unless the CDs are placed all the way to the back. - Mike
