I was pleasantly surprised with the material. I am not a big fan of not being able to "see and touch" something before I buy but this turned out to be a pretty descent product. Easy to put together, even kind of fun. - Angie K.
Two of the holes were too shallow for the srews to fit properly. That is a concern especially for the wear & tear. One beautiful bed though. Plus we were really impressed with the reinforcement slats. Thicker & more stable than any bed we have bought for even the kids. It's a personal preference but we kept a box spring to land us right below the fancy scoll on the headboard. It is metal so keep that in mind if ur a couple with kids in the house.
