I decided to look online and found the table on this website at a very good price. [...] The wood appears to be pressed with thin veneer. I bumped the corner of the bottom shelf while assemling and it chipped. Luckily, it was in a place where the leg and shelf met, so it isn't noticeable. It feels sturdy as I tightened the screws fairly well. In the showroom, I don't think they were as thorough, and that was my only concern when ordering... wondering if it would be sturdy with home assembly. Overall, it is a nice little table with a nice marquetry on top, looking more expensive than it was. - Ray
