Beautiful piece of furniture! Very heavy; Looks more expensive than it is. The color is warmer than I would have liked but it still looks good. The description lists it as "gilded slate". A little too much gilded and not enough slate. - Lighting Girl
My bed is beautiful. No, really it is. Substantial, is the best word that comes to mind. Not one of those rickety, cast-iron beds you normally see. No banging, noisy headboard here. The bed is beautiful. It looks exactly as it does on the website. The only negative thing I have to say is that I wish they provided us with more screws. One of them was warped and we did not have an extra one to use. We are still shopping around for one that fits. - SD

Shipping was free, it got here fast. It came in one box and was easy to assemble for the most part. The separate pieces are a little heavy but two people can move it comfortably. It doesn't squeak or make those annoying sounds and it's held together through two moves so far and still in great condition. Only thing I would say to watch out for is the posts at the foot of the bed. If you hit the side of your hip on it, it can hurt! Otherwise, it's a beautiful piece to own. - ~Lollipop~
