These bar stools are exactly as described and exactly what we wanted. They have a sleek contemporary look, but are sturdy and comfortable. They do not look or feel cheap at all. Other reviews said they are heavy, but I would consider them substantial but easy to move on our tiled kitchen floor. Anything too light would make them seem less a quality product. Love the 360 degree swivel feature and the comfort of the back rest. The cushion is a little firm for my taste but may soften over time. I like being able to adjust the height as well. We were able to put more bar stools at the kitchen island than we had before due to the compact design, so it's great for additional seating arrangements.
