They are perfect for the small area and they slide under the table out of the way, not like ones with a back that stuck out that I bumped into frequently. They do not swivel to fast, but smoothly when you sit on them. My husband liked them so much that I am purchasing 2 more. It is difficult to find backless stools for a kitchen island and these fit great at our kitchen island, plus they also swivel. Was very happy to see that they arrived already assembled and just had to take out of box and start using. Wish that they came in different fabric as I am not crazy about the velour and how it looks. Will probably recover with something nicer at some point. Overall. this is a nice stool for a very reasonable cost. - Rileys Mom
