I am a somewhat disabled woman with back issues and have difficulty standing for long periods. With this stool, I can do all of my own housework comfortably, scooting from table to counter easily and from room to room for that matter. It has a tendency to roll backwards when getting up, though. Would be nice if you you would carry a stool designed for the disabled w/large rubber wheels that would roll over carpets easily. - Hobbygirl
