I purchased the full-size bed frame. I wanted something that would be sturdy, yet easy to move without a truck. The frame comes in one box, which I could lift by myself to carry into the house. It has five pieces-the left and right sides that you unfold, and three center sections that snap over the inner rails of the two sides. Each side section has three legs you unfold, and each leg has two support brackets that you swing out and secure with wing-nuts. The wing nuts are already attached to the frame. Then you place the three grill like sections down the center, and snap them into place with the clips that are already(permanently) attached to them. Voila! My box came with four loose clips that are only necessary with the twin and queen sized frames-I guess I'll toss those out. There's about 11 1/2" between the floor and the bottom of the hinges on the frame. The support brackets get in the way a bit, but there is more than ample room for under the bed type storage containers. I may build my own containers to take full advantage of the space. The feet have a sturdy rubber/plastic covering/coating to protect the floor from scratches. The only improvements I can think of are a raised edge along the perimeter of the frame(or just at the corners) to help keep the mattress in place, and nicking the ends of the bolts to keep the wing nuts from coming off and getting lost during a move. I did buy the foot/headboard brackets, and plan on making my own foot and headboard. I'm very pleased with the frame-it's simple to put together(didn't need the instructions, really) and crazy sturdy, and not too heavy to move around. A great value! - Jen

Wonderful product true to it's description. Used in lieu of a traditional Full box spring and frame. Easy to assemble and carry. No sharp edges. Two part system makes it easy to maneuver. Great for the move to college :) - Go Rutgers!

My boys each had a platform bed frame for their memory foam mattresses....It saved me from buying the box spring mattress. We didn't care for the low profile of a typical platform bed frame. THIS frame sets up in minutes (SO simple)...You don't need a box spring....AND now they have extra storage under their beds! Awesome. Highly recommend. - Single Mom
