This is a great thing for what we use it for. We use it for an extra bed at home and use the matress from our Motorhome. It can be folded up and put away if we don't need the extra bed. - doc

If you're trying to get a bed on a budget, this item is perfect! The frame is in my guest room. Assembly took less than 10 minutes and it sits up very high. I'm so glad I spent my money on this and not on a platform bed that I would have payed more for and had to put together. I highly recommend this item to anyone who is trying to create a nice bedroom on a budget. - Tesa

The product is amazing! The assembly was very easy and the bed frame looks and feels like it is very well made. I just wish the real bed frame height was 14" like it said on the website and specifications. I was not able to fit the boxes I needed to fit under the bed.... so it was a bummer! - NatMan

My husband set this bed up in under ten minutes, it was very easy. It's also extremely sturdy and doesn't squeak or make a noise. We bought it as a replacement, since our hand-carved wooden bed cracked in various places and eventually just collapsed after only 4 years of use. My husband weighs 220 so we needed a strong frame that would fit our queen bed, without a footboard (as he's also 6'3"). We also bought the attachment set to connect our old headboard to the frame. If you just use a bedskirt this bed looks fine. - engine

I just moved into an apartment building with a staircase so narrow, that we could not fit our box spring up the stairs . We looked online for the best option and this Boyd bed frame was the best solution for us, price wise and specs wise. It came folded in two pieces in one box and I assembled it alone with no assistance in about 15 minutes. We have been sleeping on it for a bit over two weeks and it is surprisingly sturdy! No squeaking, no shifting, I love it! Also, there is ample storage space under it. We have one small closet in our new apartment and the extra space under the bed is Really coming in handy. - Dot

Great product for diy folks especially build a dream wooden bedframe without to shop for----ever! however the chores only great in choosing the right type of hardwoods and chopped them down to the exact measurements and the assembling is just amazingly easy with the foot/headboard brackets. product was lightly rusted and may need to be sprayed/conditioned prior to place it in the room. we placed a memory foam mattress (w/out the sheet of wood or box spring) NO SAGGING! As I thought it may sag through the squares but it is amazingly support the mattress as advertised. do your own math it is off the floor 14+inches and then your 14-18 inches thick mattress so it is already quite high for your little toddlers to hop on. it is great to convert the entire dresser drawers to be stored underneath the bed. i built 4 sliding drawers for the bed to take up our 8 drawers dresser stuffs so now my wife can buy more stuffs to store them in the emptied dresser. great product for kids help them clean easier. recommended! - hank the builder

This is the perfect platform bed for a low budget. It is great quality and has so much storage room underneath. You don't need a box spring, which is great. I don't think I will ever go back to a regular frame with box spring again. It is quiet, and doesn't squeak. - CB

This is a perfect replacement of bed slat. Our slat was old and some piece was broken. We bought this metal frame and put it in our bed frame. It fits well in bed frame. We don't need bed slat any more. - Andy

Ordered this to replace my sideboards and foot board, in order to create more storage under the bed, AND to have more space in my small room. It is great for that...however, even with the brackets, I was NOT able to attach my headboard,which is wider than the bed frame.I may need to bolt the headboard to the wall. Ugh! - Simplify

I have been sleeping on this for 3 nights now and it is wonderful! No noise at all a big switch from my old box spring. - Massage goddess
